S36.48 identifies an epitope on the human 14 kD subunit of the MRP8/14 complex (also referred to as Calgranulin B or S100A9) different from S32.2. It facilitates the characterization of infiltrates of myelomonocytic cells which express MRP14 according to inflammatory status or type of disease.
