DESCRIPTION: Rat monoclonal anti-mouse type I collagen antibody clone 7G5D2 (IgG2a), biotinylated
APPLICATION: Use for immunohistochemistry and ELISA, but not recommended for immunoblotting

CROSS-REACTIVITY: Specific to native type I collagen and poorly reacts with denatured type I collagen (less than 5%). Does not cross-react with any species of type II collagen. The following is a list of relative cross-reactivity with various species of type I collagen.
Rat type I collagen: 30%
Mouse type I collagen: 20%
Bovine type I collagen: 50%
Porcine type I collagen: 100%
Human type I collagen 0%
USAGE: Dilute the antibody in buffer containing 2% heterologous serum, such as NGS, to prevent non-specific reactions in ELISA and tissue staining. Use at 0.1-1 mg/ml.
